Review of Dante's Peak (1997) by Ben T — 24 Jan 2012
I find the critical backlash against this film to be kind of absurd. The kid's are terrible actors and there's some moments of melodrama but the practical effects are great and there's enough of a plot to support the carnage.
It was one of my fave's when I was younger and I can still watch it over and over again now. Great movie? Not really. But it delivers what it should. Oodles better than Volcano.
