Tomei plays one of those annoying conservative, paranoid, over-protective harpies that you hope never to meet. She's so annoying I spent most of the movie hoping for her character to die. Also, I hate when people in movies wear shoes indoors.
Not only do they wear them in their house, but in their beds! So distracting.
