Review of Dangerous Liaisons (1988) by Lois R — 23 Jan 2008
Glenn Close and John Malkovich are perfect playing against each other. They both developed these deep characters who were a lot more multifaceted than just evil (amid all the innocence that surrounded them).
In their wicked games, we also saw their vulnerabilities. I like the story, in general, and it has been produced many times - Valmont, Cruel Intentions and a few others -- but this is the best version.
A brilliant example of fine acting.
