This is one of my favorite movies of all time. SO many awesome moments. Brilliant acting, awesome sets and costuming. I keep meaning to read this book - an English translation, as I can't read French, but have not gotten to it yet.
I loved the movie Valmont too, but this one is more ... polished. Not better, just shinier. Better production value. More money.
