Review of Dangerous Liaisons (1988) by Maryte M — 03 Aug 2008
John Malkovich is an actor that always scares me when I see him on screen. (Same goes for Daniel Day Lewis) He is way too intense for me, that being said, this movie is not your typical period fluff. There is Intrigue, seduction, revenge, and a young Keanu Reeves in a not so excellent performance.
Although, he is better than Uma Thurman, whose only contribution to this movie was a topless scene. What I learned from this film/novel adaptation/history? There needs to be more public booing and it's okay to be a slut in high society.
Sidenote: Did you know Malkovich and Pfeiffer used to date? Weird.
