I just realized that Cruel Intentions and Dangerous Liaisons have the exact same plot. The only difference is that the latter takes place in the 18th century. Either the newer film is a blatant rip off, or they are both based on the same book. Kooky.

Glenn Close and John Malkovich are this movie. There is really no plot, these two people just fuck with each other, destroying countless lives in the process. I like the wig and powder era as much as the next guy, but once again I found myself being bored at times. The entire film is just more of the same, right till the end. Fortunately Malkovich is brilliant as the lecherous lead lovesick lad, otherwise I might have stopped watching halfway through. Be on the lookout of some major A-listers as younger versions of themselves as well.

A concoction of mischief and deceit, with some erotic vibes. Or, as I like to call it, Cruel Intentions: The Baroque Edition (And now I'm thinking of mr. Obama. Great man).
