Review of Dangerous Liaisons (1988) by Camilla O — 06 Oct 2010
A very well done movie, but I prefer "Cruel Intentions" to this film. First, Sarah Michelle Gellar seems more likely to tempt a man than Glenn Close. And secondly, this story seems a bit over-the-top and theatrical (I know) when set in France in the 1700s, whereas it seems right at home in the 1990s.
Still, an enjoyable story of cruelty and seduction.
