Very few films I would call a masterpiece or give 5 stars, but DANGEROUS LIAISONS is one of those films. A tragedy that Malkovich wasn't even Oscar-nominated and Close didn't win. Did win screenplay Oscar award which it so deserved.
A tragedy and yet so wickedly entertaining and in the end devastating and heartbreaking.
