Review of Dangerous Liaisons (1988) by Shai L — 13 Jun 2013
One of the few period dramas/adaptation done well. The fact that none of them even tried to sound British in a French setting (Hollywood usually does those kind of idiotic thing) is a bonus. Although Glenn and Joan played a satisfying Madame de Merteuil and Valmont, it was Pfeiffer's silent virtue as Madame de Tourvel that caught my attention.
