Review of Danger Close (2017) by Janepeterse — 22 May 2017
Similar to other Heroes of Valor movies such as Hornet’s Nest and Citizen Soldier, Danger Close gives a real life look at what our soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq go through on a daily basis. Alex Quade journeys to a combat outpost to tell the story and see the legacy of fallen Green Beret Rob Pirelli.
This documentary is similar to the other Heroes of Valor movies in that it shows our troops and their bravery and brotherhood, but it is different in that it follows a war reporter and one persons story.
I recommend this documentary because we were able to go on the journey with Quade and follow Pirelli’s family lives as well as see his legacy.
