Review of Dancing at the Blue Iguana (2001) by Carrie H — 10 Jul 2007
Poignant, but boring at times (maybe because (a) I'm not a guy and (b) I don't think watching people - clothed or not - dance to lilting singer-songwriter tunes makes me want to go to sleep). Just one or two folks dropping it like it was hot would have been enough to keep me on board and ready to enjoy the good acting.
Daryl Hannah's portrayl of the dreamy career stripper with a mother instinct was heartwrenchingly beautiful.
