Review of Dances with Wolves (1990) by Leah L — 30 Mar 2011
The craziest thing about this movie is that Robert Pastorelli (who played Murphy Brown's painter) was in it. I really loved the first act and the frontier scenes. Things slowed down by the second act, and by the third act I basically had no interest in the movie anymore.
I'm not a huge fan of Kevin Costner, and I found him to be less annoying in this movie when he had facial hair. Once he shaved off his mustache I just couldn't take him seriously anymore. There were some good moments and beautiful cinematography, and overall I guess it was a good movie, just hard to watch if you have a short attention span.
