Review of Dances with Wolves (1990) by John M — 28 Feb 2015
Kevin Costner stars and directs Dances with Wolves. Costner plays a Civil War soldier who is in charge of a remote post in South Dakota. In the process he comes across the Sioux tribe, and over time comes to learn there ways and become one of them.
Dances with Wolves was a great tale of friendship, romance and the challenge of overcoming differences across races. The film also shows in the process how this can be viewed as betraying your own. Dance with Wolves was a surprisingly good film with an epic scope that gives you an emotional tale.
