The film tends to take lumps from people who cannot sit in their seats for more than 2 hours. Every scene in this movie is pivitol to the plot, the story, and the character development.
This movie is the very definition of "Epic", and is one of the greatest American films ever made.
The story of one man's journey from optimistic soldier to a reformed humanist, this film is Kevin Costner's Tour de Force and is without a doubt one of my favorite films of all time.
