Review of Dances with Wolves (1990) by Graeme H — 08 Jul 2011
Though Costner's deadpan is atrocious to the point of almost rendering the film unwatchable, its biggest flaw involves a homicidal bison. Regardless of those and other things, the film works as a scenic American epic that is, in modesty, a good moment in cinema.
