Review of Dances with Wolves (1990) by Mark C — 11 Feb 2010
A brilliant, amazing film. One of the best films i've seen. Directed by and starring Kevin Costner, the film tells the story of American Civil War veterna John Dunbar and his relationship with a Native American Sioux tribe.
The cinematography, the vast landscapes and the score by John Barry are the stand outs of this film. Overall a sad and moving film which has become a classic and is a great achievement for Costner.
