Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by Julio P — 04 Aug 2008
FIrst of all, you HAVE to like Bjork to like this film. This is a beautiful musical but done in the style of Bjorks solo career. She is wonderful. All the supporters surprise with understated performances, especially Peter Stormare.
Lars Von Trier is not for everyone, but if you are going to see any of his films, this one is more American than his other Dogme 95 films.
