Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by Gobs C — 04 Nov 2008
Aside from Green Miles, this is the second sorrowful film I have ever seen in my life and it can definitely make you depressed and disappointed with the society. The frequent use of long, shaky shots are the most successful way in vividly expressing character's expression and feeling.
The audience see as if they are watching a documentary. I am also glad that I am able to see the once-in-a life-time's performance of Bjork.
