Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by Sam H — 28 Dec 2008
Quite possibly the saddest film ever made! weird and depressing, yet artistic and enyjoyable at the same time, it's a musical written and directed by lars von trier. I liked how some parts got so miserable yet out of nowhere there's suddenly a dance and a burst of song that doesn't belong there! bjork was the star here making every sad situation seem suddenly happy.
what a voice on her too eh? sounds like a sea lion being strangled (no pun intended) with alot of vocal power behind it. she's a voice thrower.
