Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by Kennlin B — 08 Jun 2012
Lars von Trier creates the world around Selma to be so cruel, it feels like you are Selma (In a good way). The film is depressing, intense and disturbing. I'd hate to watch it again, though Bjork's performance alone is worth the tears again.
Including the bizarre-yet-catchy musical numbers.
