Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by Emily B — 07 Sep 2008
What a powerful movie. The story is devastating, yet captivating. The musical elements were incorporated brilliantly, and the acting was so natural - it seemed real, like you were watching a documentary, which made the whole thing even more depressing.
I'm a big Bjork fan, so I adored the soundtrack, and Bjork herself was just perfect. Possibly the saddest movie i've EVER seen.
