It was never meant to be a deep or complex movie so I appreciate it for exactly what it was...gag scenes, predictable comedy, and a parody of Fame, Stick It, Save the Last Dance, Honey, Stomp the Yard, etc, etc.
I'm really impressed with Damon Wayans...he and Essence stole the show. I had fun watching it =).
