Review of Dance Flick (2009) by Mike C — 25 Jul 2010
2 out of 5 stars. As a parody movie, at least this one is way better than Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, or Meet the Spartans. Unlike those pieces of garbage that just throw a lot of bad jokes in a row to see what sticks (avoid them like the plague, trust me) this one at least attempts to have a coherent plot, similar to the first Scary Movie.
This makes sense, as its from the same people, the enourmous Wayans family, for the writing of the movie, compared to the others that are simply from some of the same producers but different hack writers.
About the only redeeming thing about this movie is the dance scenes are actually pretty good, but otherwise this movie is a waste of time.
