A movie that started out so well, Dan in Real Life was a movie that didn't seem to know where it was going. Where it actually ended up was with a terrible screenplay, dialogue ripped from other movies, actresses that can't do a convincing enough American accent, and comedians who while being funny two years ago, flutter and fail today.

I walked out of the theater sad that I had paid money for this awful film and wanted to take those pancakes out from under Steve Carell's head and shove them in his face till he couldn't breathe anymore.

After growing restraint, I went into Michael Clayton and made up for it.
