And thus began the downfall of Steve Carell, giving up his true talent of comedy and swapping it in for an array of sloppy, sappy indie dramadies. I couldn't even get through this movie - the writing was awful and predictable, Steve Carell does not belong in these "depressed dad" roles, and I wanted to throttle this idiotic family he has to put up with (not in a cute, ironic way, but in a "I'm done with this movie" way).
Thumbs down.
