Review of Dan in Real Life (2007) by Sparky J — 08 Feb 2010
It took me a long time to hire this vid. The cover and back story made it seem like this could be one of those dull depressive movies that pretends to be a comedy but really is more like a fast working enema for all your happy thoughts!
So I was so surprised when I watched it! It's funny, original, and sweet without rotting your teeth. Who knew?
The only gripe I have is that the guy isn't in the family talent show each year because, "He has no talents", then this year he sits down, plays the guitar beautifully and sings a fine duet with his brother! I'd like to be that unskilled if you don't mind!
It's a good laugh though and makes you think without taxing the gray matter.
