THE VERDICT?
I found Dan to be too much of a misery guts to enjoy this otherwise average romantic drama. For the first half of the film he spends an incredible amount of time moping over Marie who- lets face it- he doesn't even really know. This itself crushes any chuckle you could get out of the situations that come up. Once over this the film still fails to deliver any real laughs and ultimately flops due to its own awkwardness.
Comedy? No. Drama? Yes.
