Review of Dan in Real Life (2007) by Tim M — 21 Dec 2009

Steve Carell is just completely charming in this original comedy. I especially love the story, because it's simple and not over the top. Not only is it a good romance comedy, but it is also the story of a father, trying to do his best to raise his children while also pursuing a love interest, who happens to be dating his brother, Dane Cook.

I was also very surprised to see that Dane Cook doesn't try to do much to be funny. Which I think suits this film so that way the focus is on Steve Carell more so, which is were it should b on. The main character.
