An excellent comment on the vacuity of education and interpersonal communication of the vaguely youthful as demonstrated and accidentally articulated by an insulated posse of characters not far removed from one of the Cruel Intentions sequels, Damsels in Distress alternates from taking itself too seriously and taking itself not at all.
Recommended for fans of nondescript quasi-anachronistic East Coast Americana and complimentary hand soap.
