Review of Damsels in Distress (2012) by Daryl K — 19 Oct 2012
High on the quirk factor, even for Whit Stillman, 'Damsels in Distress' depicts some alternate universe college life where the jocks are so dumb they can't differentiate colors, and dance crazes are considered the epitome of social significance.
You either appreciate Stillman's brand of wry humor, or you don't. Regardless, Greta Gerwig is kind of adorable here.
