Review of Damsels in Distress (2012) by Wiggipop — 03 Jan 2014
This is a wonderful gem of a film. I can see why it's so polarising; you either embrace it or are enraged by it. It's all rather silly really, but oh so magical. Dialogue is whip smart and full of honesty, the performances are excellent, and some scenes are just wonderfully funny.
Greta Gerwig is wonderful as always.
