Review of Damnation (2009) by Carie S — 29 Nov 2014
A moving expose of the profound ecological loss caused by prolific damming of thousands of US rivers. Thoughtfully constructed and beautifully filmed, including incredible stealth footage of the Elhwa dam removal (basically an explosion of mud) , alongside gorgeous desert canyons now submerged, and ultimately lays bare the hypocrisy of 'sustainable hydro.
' Highly, highly recommended.
