Review of Damien - Omen II (1978) by William W — 08 Jun 2008
For a sequel to a classic horror movie like "The Omen," the second does a pretty good job of keeping the creepy-factor at a respectable level. While not at the same level as the original, it was certainly enough to keep me watching to the end. I'm not sure I was such a big fan of the portrayal of the teenage Damien, and a (much) younger Lance Henriksen has a brief and ultimately ineffective role as one of Damien's guardians. In fact, most of the guardians felt pretty useless throughout the movie.
Spooky enough to sit through.
