Review of Damien - Omen II (1978) by Yule Die — 30 May 2008
It starts at a very good point in Damien's life and in spots it's got some good scenes but it's a virtual copy in terms of where the story elements fall together like the original's. Another thing I didn't agree with is I always felt Damien knew he was the Antichrist and in this one is when he 'discovers' who he is.
Portrayals though are decently acted and good production values make this a good but not great follow up to the classic original.
