Jeremy Irons is so talented. This film with over powering facination of his sons fiancee, and her giving in to the attention creates damage for both of them and thier family. Very passionte film, impulsuve emotions, immediate physical desires amongst each other.
Brilliant performances where they seem to be naturally drawn together. This movie has explored the ways in which the power of sexuality supercedes the rationality of logic, when mutual attraction is stronger than one's ability to resist temptation.
Damage makes it clear that such an indulgence will always come at considerable cost.
