A well behaved dad gone bad, following an intensely passionate love affair with a future daughter in law. j. binoche is, as always, superb. and as for j. irons, his last role before becoming a lame has been.
the book is almost as great as the movie itself. love the scene m.richardson beats herself to ease the pain!
