Review of Dallas Buyers Club (2013) by Bertold G — 08 May 2014

Dallas Buyers Club star Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto and Jennifer Garner and the story is about Ron Woodroof a electrocution and jerk who ends up getting AIDS and starts his illegal drug clinic and realizes that there is more to life then himself. This film is fantastic. Everything about it is perfect from the story to the acting. Especially Jared Leto, he gives such a powerful performance and I love his character ,I felt bad for him throughout the movie. McConaughey is also incredible. He really has turned his whole career around. Both actors deserved the Oscars they were given.

The story is also fantastic, the fact that this actually happen to someone made it even more powerful, I mean I almost cried in certain scenes because of what happen. One of the great things about this movie is Ron Woodruf, in the beginning he is a egotistically jerk and very homophobic, you really hate him in the beginning. But as the movie goes on he starts forming a friendship with Rayon played by Leto, and you can see him start becoming a better person because he realizes that he is the only hope for a lot of people and it changes him for the better.

I love this movie so much, this is the reason why I love film because they can give so many different emotions and suck you in. All the actors do a outstanding job definitely worth best picture in my opinion and one of the best movie I have seen all of 2013. Definitely see this movie, go and rent it give it a chance because it is worth a watch.
