Review of Dallas Buyers Club (2013) by Spencer K — 08 Feb 2015

This is a movie that I haven't forgotten since the day I saw it in theaters. it's remained in my head ever since then. this is a truly fantastic film, and it's weight is carried solely based on the two lead actors performances.

Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto give transformative, career best performances that will go down as some of the greatest performances ever to be put on screen. they affected me in such a way that I can't explain and filled me with such emotion that I can't begin to describe what I was watching because they truly transform themselves to these characters and embody them to perfection.

Rayon is one of the best characters ever put to film and without Jared Leto I don't think she could have been portrayed better than by him. this is a film that I absolutely adore and will never forget and is one of my favorite films ever.

this is such a strong, powerful, emotionally resonant film that everybody should see. just so great. this deserves all of the Oscars it recieved and was nominated for. please see this film.
