A powerful story that is well told in this film of one man's incredible transformative journey of not just mind, but even of body where he fought against the odds in the days when being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS was a certain death sentence.
McConaughey gave a very compelling performance here that was nothing less than amazing. He really brings the character to life of a man with a fighter spirit turned from typical community bigot to a hero for those he once hated and all while taking on the Big Pharma-supported establishment with its federal agency allies.
