McConaughey was great in this role, he was the role, the movie the story. Can;t say that about any of his films before this one. On top of a great acting job, the story was very good and even learned tings I didn't know among the way.
Leto was also VERY good as the transgender partner. Yes, the movie is predictable at times but worth a watch or two.
