Set in the mid 1980s during when AIDS was considered a homosexual disease, the story shows how far a man will go to keep living as well as how much a person can change. The strengths of this film are many, but the story (based on the real life Ron Woodroof) and the acting (stellar performances by McConaughey and Leto) are what make this film great.
