The talent Staho showed in previous flawed low-budget attempts comes to glorious fruition here in the superb Daisy Diamond; this will drag you to the depths of hopelessness and despair and depression, but then deliver where the lightweight Moodysson merely promises only to disappoint; and all of us Bergman fans have something to be smug about again.
