Review of Dagon (2001) by Jared P — 20 Dec 2004

I saw this before I started reading anything by Lovecraft, but even then I found it very enjoyable, and it got me to look into it's sources and start reading Lovecraft. Named after the short story by Lovecraft, but mostly based on his longer story of "The Shadow over Innsmouth", it is thoroughly creepy and not of the typical horror style.

Also, the ending and much of the movie was much different from the norm. I was very impressed after having seem it on the Sci-Fi channel.
