For those not familiar with Dad's Army, you should really check it out. Truly one of the great British comedy ensembles ever. The TV series is one of the best sitcoms of all time. Of course, it is rather British and some cultural references may be lost, but a lot of the humour comes from the wonderful characters which makes it timeless.
