Review of Dad's Army (2016) by Kenneth B — 07 Feb 2016
It was always going to be difficult to translate such a beloved sitcom into a feature film with a brand new cast 40 years after the original show ended. They got the cast right, particularly Gambon and Courtenay.
However, the film becomes tiresome quite quickly and although the laughs never entirely dry up, Dad's Army perhaps is very much of its time and comedy, it seems, has moved on.
