Review of Daddy's Little Girls (2007) by Cody C — 27 Mar 2011
Watchable, but just as flawed as anything else by Tyler Perry. There are one or two scenes that actually work though, surprisingly. Everything else is the same ol bad writing, directing, editing, music cues, etc.
though. One really awesome thing is that halfway into the film Idris Elba decides to start talking / making faces like Stringer Bell. So Wire fans will have fun with this one somewhat. And as is the case with Diary of a Mad Black Woman, anyone who is a fan of bad cinema a la The Room should definitely watch this.
