Review of Daddy's Home 2 (2017) by Tom B — 17 May 2018
The ingenious trailer parading Mel Gibson and John Lithgow down the airport escalator, always had the theater audience rolling down the aisles with laughter; however, neither pioneer's nostalgia presence, possessed the strength to save this comedy from its awfully conventional Christmas script.
There's a couple of chuckles here and there, but unfortunately the film's PG-13 family theme is stale to the brim and doesn't pay out the MEET THE PARENTS vibe that is foreshadowed.
