Review of Daddy's Home 2 (2017) by J F — 10 Nov 2017

Probably closer to 3.5-4 stars, it started out very funny but kind of drifted halfway through. But critics are so hard on this movie (like the first one), that I wanted to help bolster user reviews. When I saw the first Daddy?s Home I laughed way more than I thought I would because of poor reviews. Critics are horrible at recognizing humor, they save their multiple star ratings for super-dry arthouse movies. If you laughed at the first one you?ll laugh at this - the same style humor with the addition of Cena, Gibson and Lithgow. I also like the PG-13 rating... too many writers use f-bombs as a crutch. This group is capable of humor with looks, actions and slapstick. I?ll be adding this to Elf for Christmas viewing.
