They didn't find better writers it seems, Daddy's Home 2 misses a lot of the same marks the first movie did. Once again Ferrell and Wahlberg work amazing together and carry a bad movie very well with their charm.
Gibson and Lithgow are fine as their fathers, but still not enough life this film up to much more than empty holiday comedy fare.
