Review of Daddy Day Camp (2007) by Dan S — 17 May 2008
Predictable movie. From the bees to the inter-camp rivalries, you can tell what is coming next if you only pay a little attention. Poor acting abounds in this "movie". I am sorely disappointed in Cuba for accepting the role in this. He has played such strong parts in so many other great movies. The kids acting abilities seem more forced than usual in a kids movie.
We showed this at our PTA movie night (because of the rating and it being a somewhat new release at the time). We found it hard to keep the kids interested in watching it.
I would not reccommend watching this unless your only alternatives are The Blair Witch Project or White Noise.
